Curtains | Uncoated Fabric

Uncoated fabrics may seem unfamiliar to most homeowners. Unlike sheer fabrics, an uncoated fabric provides a higher level of heat insulation and light absorption (approximately 50% - 60% sun blockage). It is the composition of polyester and/or cotton (tightly woven fabric). Despite being thick in nature, an uncoated fabric does not absorb all the lights that fall on it. Hence, you’d still be able to enjoy an adequate amount of sunlight during the day.

Free of hazardous substances

Many fabrics release hazardous substances to the air upon exposure to sunlight.

Our uncoated curtains, imported exclusively from Europe, are proven to be free of harmful substances, with the crucial function of blocking harmful UV rays from entering through your windows, thus promoting and restoring good health.

In many cases, the lifespan of a curtain declines due to excessive sun exposure and humid climate. HM provides a wide variety of fabrics that can withstand strong sunlight, reduce outdoor noises and enable energy saving.

Creating an exquisite lifestyle

At HM, we believe that curtains present an exquisite lifestyle and a sense of being at home after a tiring day at work, which is essential for urban dwellers.

Our staff would suggest customers as regards which colour to choose, in order to reflect sunlight and not absorb the heat. If your house is breezy, we’d strongly recommend you to install curtains, instead of blinds, as the rod weighing down a blind would bang against the window and cause irritation.
