Shooting the Lights Out

Blackout Curtains

Blackout curtains/drapes inherit the details and advantages we all share under Curtains | Uncoated Fabric . In fact, in some situation, blackout curtains functions way better in areas like heat and noise reduction, depending on whether your daily lifestyle requires a normal curtain or a blackout curtain. Coated fabric and lining curtain both create a blackout effect upon installation.  Most of our client choose to install blackout curtains for bedrooms, for example like kid's bedroom, or bedroom with a new born baby, or light sleepers.

Coated fabrics may seem unfamiliar to most homeowners. Unlike sheer fabrics, a Coated fabric provides a higher level of heat insulation and light absorption.

Free of hazardous substances

Many fabrics release hazardous substances to the air upon exposure to sunlight.

Our uncoated curtains, imported exclusively from Europe, are proven to be free of harmful substances, with the crucial function of blocking harmful UV rays from entering through your windows, thus promoting and restoring good health.

In many cases, the lifespan of a curtain declines due to excessive sun exposure and humid climate. HM provides a wide variety of fabrics that can withstand strong sunlight, reduce outdoor noises and enable energy saving.

Creating an exquisite lifestyle

At HM, we believe that curtains present an exquisite lifestyle and a sense of being at home after a tiring day at work, which is essential for urban dwellers.

Our staff would suggest customers as regards which colour to choose, in order to reflect sunlight and not absorb the heat. If your house is breezy, we’d strongly recommend you to install curtains, instead of blinds, as the rod weighing down a blind would bang against the window and cause irritation.

Incredible functionality of Luna's fabric

Unlike other low-quality blackout curtains, the composition of Luna fabrics does not contain any harmful or toxin substances. The ingredients are imported directly from the US with stringent quality check.
The backing of lower quality fabric tends to tear and melt upon washing. In the case of Luna, it is completely washable. It has been tested in many Singapore laundry shops under the temperature of 70 degree Celsius. We have also sent our fabric for lab testing. It is laboratory-proven that our blackout curtains are able to block heat and UV ray, reduce unwanted noises and resist water.
